I am new to the Bible
The Bible is still the best seller of all books on earth. It has been burned, torn to shreds and even
evil spoken of for centuries and yet it continues to change the lives of millions that embraces it.
Through thousands of years the Bible has been the center of the moral standard of the civilized world. It was the first text book in many American schools at one time. It has been the spark which has prompted numerous scientific advances.

The Bible is separated into two main division, the Old and New Testaments.
The Old Testament, which was originally written in the Hebrew language, includes all of the writings of the Bible from the Book of Genesis through that of Malachi.
There are 39 books in the Old Testament and 27 books in the New Testament.
